In recognition of the re-opening costs incurred by the hospitality sector, Failte Ireland have announced an Adaptation Fund (“the Fund”) to cover the costs of implementing the Government  Guidelines for Re-opening the Tourism  sector. Grants will be paid for either the structural adaptations required for fixed, visitor-facing premises, or to cover the cost of COVID-19 related consumables (such as sanitiser or Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Grant amounts are based on the type and size of the tourism business and the relative costs incurred. Refer to link below on how to apply,


Following an independent assessment of the potential costs above , a sliding scale has been designed so as to ensure a proportionate grant amount was allocated to different types of businesses.
